Rep Power: 0  |  I have this problem myself. The modem doesn't pick get the IP address. It takes upto 2-3 hrs to get the IP address. Reliance told me this is just a temporary problem because of some upgradation, although I don't believe it. One way around it is to keep your modem turned on all the time. Once it gets the IP address, don't turn it off. You can turn your computer and router (I use netgear btw) off, but leave the modem on. If you turn it off, it'll again take an infinite time to get the IP address. |
