    Default reliance connection with router

    hi ppl,
i am using Reliance Wimax BroadNet connection. They haven't provide me any modem or such. Just I have to connect the cable to my laptop, there is no ip or anything,i have to set it to automatically acquire in my lan settings and open the browser which takes me to reliancebroadnet website and then by using my username/password and I am able to access the internet.

I tried to configure my linksys Wireless router and after configuration, the reliancebroadnet website is coming up but when I enter my username/password, i am getting an "Authentication Failed" error.

Does anybody faced this kind of situation and how to resolve it. I would appreciate any help in this regard.pl pl do write and help me out..thnx a lot

    Regards,
    Shiteej

    Hi,

If u are single PC means, there is no need of router. U connect the cable directly to ur LAN card.

Still u need two PC , then u try these solutions,

    Problem caused due to

    (i) If u enter the login details in one or more browsers, then u may get the authentication error...

(ii) if u are using 2 PCs mean,u should not try to login in both the PCs. If u did so u ll get this type of error.

(iii) If u forgetten to logout in last session from the RELIANCE WEBLOGIN page also u ll get this error. Coz Server keeping ur details as u are still logged in. If u logged again means, the server notifies that Authentication problem..So u must logout from reliance web login page.

    SOLUTIONS:-

    (i) U must login in thru single PC or Single Browser only.

(ii)If u still getting authenticating error u call to CCare for restting the password..

I Think this solution will help u out..

    Regardz,
    Imran Basha.S
