Reliance Wired Broadband available in Dehradun ?

Hi everyone ! I wanted to know if Reliance wired broadband is available in Dehradun. Currently I'm using Airtel 3G for internet but it is very expensive if you are a high data user like me, so I wanted to switch to wired connection.

Reliance doesnt provide their wired broadband connection in Dehradun, but BSNL and Sify do. BSNL provides FTTH and the wired line is provided by Sify broadband.

But just to be on the safe side and see if in future Reliance will be providing wired broadband you can contact Reliance on 1800 3000 7777

Unfortunatly such areas like Dehradun has limited availability of wired broadband options, where as you can easily get any 3G wireless connection. Its always best to try BSNL in such areas.

You can get Bsnl adsl if you want. I have relatives at Dehradun and they all have Bsnl broadband because nothing else is available in their areas and Bsnl broadband is doing fine. I some times used to spend summers there and never had any connectivity problems although I never downloaded anything apart from may be a few youtube videos here and there.

Sorry, but I am fed up with BSNL. Had their broadband in the past, very rude people. Their connection dropped regularly and was most of the time not as fast as promised. I vowed never to go back.
Still waiting for pvt operators to offer broadband here. *Sigh* This after being in a state capital.

I sent an inquiry to them on their website. Let' s see if they reply.

Have you tried other isp's like Vodafone, Idea or Tata? Although these will be wireless, there may be a plan which suits you.

Vodafone doesn't have 3G service here. Idea & Tata offer 3G but their plans are all similarly priced with minor differences here & there.
