Rep Power: 0 | After having confirmed with Reliance regarding the network feasibility in my area, i applied for the connection by paying a sum of Rs 500/-. Few days later a service Installation Engineer called me and came for the installation. Surprisingly, after trying for a couple of hours he informed me that the signal is weak and cannot install it... This despite the fact being assured by Reliance Help desk. Immediately, i called up the Sales person who assured me that this was due to network rework going on and would send in the Installation Engineer after a couple of days. Hoping that things would have settled down after a week, i called the sales person to give it another try. But to my surprise and dissapointment, i was only informed to ask for a refund which in this case would be possible only after a month. The reason for delay in refund was that Reliance head office is very far...... and it would take time for the refund money to reach me...hmmmm.. probably there wasnt a better excuse.. But the story doesnt end here... I called the Reliance Help desk and after being put on hold for looong time, the agent only came back with an email address instead of his Manager whom i was waiting to talk to. May be i had to experience another service option of Reliance.. This time it had to be the email. I sent a mail with all my details and requested to expedite the refund process. It was annoying to get a reply from Reliance asking me to send the details that were already sent.....Assuming that the person who had replied to my mail may have had condoned the details, i sent my details again. It was a surprise to immediately find a reply....But to my despair it was only an automatic acknowledgement. After a couple of hours i got a reply assuring that this information has been passed to the sales team who would get back to me… When I did not have anyone contact me even after a week, i decided to sent a reminder.. A reminder was sent, a quick ack received.(Good use of technology). A reply follows that, but it was exasent to me before that this has been passed onto sales team and someone would contact me... But the wait has been indefinitely longer than any expectations.. Finally after running from Pillar-to-Post, i am forced to wait, to get a refund of my hard earned money... |
