    Try out by connecting to different BS......you may find urself lucky.....i'm Near BEML gate and its up to the mark since 2:30 hrs.....

    Default Sandeep: My Waiver confirmation

    Hi,

    Since customer has faced with upload problem from 7th feb,waiver will be posted for 20 days,i.e. 7th feb to 26th feb 2008 amounting to Rs.758.43/-.Customer
    has to make the balance amount of Rs.84.27/-.Waiver will be reflected in the next bill.

    Default Mail I sent to Reliance..

    I filed several complaints to fix zero upload speed between 7 Feb till yesterday and the issue is yet to be fixed.

    Apoorv Rajan from Reliance called me and requested me to not file any more complaints and he assured that I would get waiver..

    As you are aware, as per TRAI QoS regulations (No. 304-6/ 2004-QoS), I am eligible for complete bill waiver for the month of February.

    I sent several communications to your Nodal officer which never got any response.

    Your customer care folks told me that someone would get back to me in the next 24 hrs (several times). I am yet to receive any call..

    Default Happy that someone accepted that it is underprovisioning..

    As per Sudhir's post someone from Reliance said that they didn't have enough infrastructure to support the subscriber base.. we were suspecting this all along..

    They should have informed everyone upfront..

    oopsaiwa, No, I seriously doubt they installed any new towers.. just fixed whatever was broken....

    i dont know what they did.....what matters for me (and for everyone very soon) its working since 2 PM.......the next agenda should be for pressing them for bill waiver....42 days for me ....since 2nd feb....

    happy for those who have got this problem resolved. I hve a suggestion for you guys. Keep checking for a week atleast daily. Have a screen shot in ur records. And report the problem if it reverts. If there is no problem after a weeks time, call up customer care and inform that its working and u shld be billed only from then. This ticket number will help you in claiming waiver.


    Sad about those guys for whom its not working yet.. And i am in the club.... Dont worry! Guess, KR Puram is still not improved with infrastructure yet. I will also post the news ASAP.

    And Sandeep, I am sorry i am out of station and hence, couldnt check the msgs.. Back on tuesday. will post my status for sure.

    Default Lots of Good News!!

    1) At 1700 hrs today my upload speed shot up to 110 kbps.
    2) Airtel is laying cable to Nekkundi, Mahadevpur, B.Narayanpura etc. areas. They approached my apartment to allow them to lay cable to our junction box. They are promising to deliver connections in a month!!

    Now I am going to pay all dues to BSNL for their non-functional phone line which never worked and I was running around all their offices for the past 6 months begging them for a broadband connection..

    I don't claim that I paid bribes because that's illegal :-)

    Thanks Cruize..... that was a very good news both on reliance and Airtel. I also got some news from a local guy saying that Airtel is laying down cables and i also found the person to come home to collect a form and a cheque.. He is yet to show up.. But i am still not certain that its already in place. Think he is waiting for the cables to be laid and then probably he would come to collect the forms.

    A max wait of 1 month.

    Default Varying upload speeds.

    I am noticing varying upload speeds. Sometimes its around 300kbps and sometimes its just 51 kbps for my 320kbps connection.

    I am getting 470 kbps upload speed. Wow finally they managed to solve it.

    Hi,
    I got a call from the technical department of Reliance. It was a long chat with those guys. Finally they revealed the secret. They made this break through with the help of tata guys and they have to change just a few settings at their BSs. Now all works fine. Tata seems to have a stable network in wimax area. They also charge the reliance for a 1/2 lakh. (just for settings change in BS )

    This is ridiculous..

    Telsima is such a small company that they could have got them solve it..

    Reliance Brochures show their Central NOC picture which looks like a NASA control centre or a Nuclear reactor control centre.. (Of course all telco NOCs look the same way) and you should read their brochure which mentions about the capabilities of their teams etc.. :-)

    Thanks a lot guys for all the help and support. I really believe that all our interactions and emails have helped Reliance understand and solve the problem. Now, lets hope we get our bill waivers too!!

    No, I had sent a mail to everyone including Arvind but looks like they are waiving off the billing for only 7 days for me. I am still continuing to haggle with them and will be following it up.
