Called up the so called CC today... after making me hold on to the line for about 5 minutes the guy told me that when he entered my subscriber id into his system, it gave an error possibly due to 'Upgradation work' being done! I think its was because i just got the connection 40 hrs back....

The upload problem is due to some bs configured incorrectly. Actually some bs have ttl so low that when ur wimax ss sends packets , their ttl expires and they are dropped. I have contacted reliance and they have ego problem that how can a user know all this . Anyways we all should follow the 3 tier architecture i.e
CC>>Nodal>>Service assurnce cell
and have all proof and emails with us . if the problem is not resolved , we can give the details and proofs to DOT officers and they will get it done. High time for reliance i guess.

Its quite possible that you have BS locked. You can unlock it by the following method

telnet 192.168.1.1
user:root
