Wherever you are, try Airtel or BSNL. Finally if nothing is there, get used to Reliance.

Every other ISP is like this.

And the concept of "Customer Care" is the in thing for all troubles redefined for customers.

I observed that extremely small mails were going.. e.g. subject "test mail" and content too is "test mail"..

Similarly when we use a mail client to access mail, we never fail to get mails (i.e. authentication and POP/IMAP handshake are always successful - it is because the these handshakes requires very small messages).

So, I tried ping with different buffer sizes with 'no fragmentation' option. With smaller buffer sizes the loss is ~1% (and avg round trip time is 100ms) and with buffer sizes above 64 bytes loss shoots up to 100%.. The machine I pinged was reliance DNS server.
Cruisecontrol, Is it possible that those of us that are facing the issue are hitting a particular router or a group or routers that are mangling the packets? and causing delays in upload traffic?
If so if we all run a trace route to a common destination would we be able to see where the issue is?

Hey Sandeep, i guess you and Cruise can work together on this. May be we can have some suggestions to work upon. Try and update me by mail.

You both can share the contacts and do something on this. If you need some help from this forum guys who are facing this problem, we can float a msg to all.

I am sure everyone will co-operate on this issue.

Hi Admin,

This thread is dealing with a very serious issue faced by many reliance wimax customers across cities. Request you to kindly make it a STICKY thread and make this available on top to gather attention from all visitors.

Cruisecontrol, Any perticular parameters that you want me to set? "like the Wait timeout milliseconds for each reply" ?
I will post my results tonight.
