Rep Power: 2 | Hello to all you folks, First of all my commisserations to all of you for the problems that you are facing. I can understand, though I am not a Wimax subscriber. I am a Reliance Broadnet (ADSL) subscriber. I went through tremendous agony to get my problems resolved. It started with me getting zero upload speeds, before that could be resolved, my connection went kaput. Then I got the connection restored. After that my major troubles started - I started losing my connection entirely/or getting severe packet loss >80% on every single day. I called customer care 25 times with escalations to supervisors around 10 times. Every ticket of mine was closed without my problem getting resolved. They also lied to me by saying that they "called" me and that I confirmed that the problem was indeed resolved. I did not get ANY call EVER for confirmation. I then got fed up and requested them for the NODAL OFFICERs information. They were "unable" to provide me that information. They asked to me to write a mail and was ASSURED that it would be provided to me on email. I sent around 12 very nasty mails (after they refused to provide me information), before they provided me that information. In the meanwhile I had found out the NODAL OFFICERS information from TRAI website. I contacted that person and he resolved my problem in 1 day ! All they did was replace my modem, as the older modem was not capable of supporting higher bandwidths. So basically I urge you ALL to contact the respective NODAL OFFICERS. For each region the details are available on TRAI website. There is no specific nodal officer for wimax. You can contact any one and then get the details (thats what I did). Many of you seem to be from B'lore. Maybe collectively you can pile up the pressure and it may help in resolving your issues. Basically escalating to nodal officer and then APPELLATE officer is your right as defined by TRAI. I am no fan of TRAI, but atleast they have made it mandatory to have a Nodal officer and you get to deal with a physical person if required. All the best ! cheers. |

Rep Power: 1 | Gardencityboy.... Well said abt the club.. No doubt the club facilities are much worse than you have mentioned. My connection is still not functioning since the last 3 weeks. And this is the fate of reliance wimax at bangalore. Competency is such with them..... Superior technology with very primitive and inferior resources managing them. Its like a garland in monkey's hands. |
