speed problems....
This is a discussion on speed problems.... within the Reliance Broadband forums, part of the Broadband Internet Service Providers category; hey guys i have 75kbps unlimited plan...it gives 9-8 kbps speed...but i saw on reliance website it says its 13kbps ...

Rep Power: 2  |  speed problems.... hey guys i have 75kbps unlimited plan...it gives 9-8 kbps speed...but i saw on reliance website it says its 13kbps download speed....then why i am not getting full speed.....recently i downloaded crysis rip 4gb it took me 2 weeks to download.  ....what shud i do now...any good plans in relaince for downloading like BSNL has 2mbps nights unlimited in 500rs.......but in relaince its 300kbps for 700rs.......please help me..... |

| Platinum Member  |  75 kbps = 8.25 kBps (75 ÷ 8). So you are getting the right speed. Reliance was wrong to advertise at 13 kBps. 75 kbps is just a little better than dial-up (56 kbps). Such plans are totally useless for downloads and mails with large attachments. You must switch to Broadband. As far as the second question is concerned, is there any issue with BSNL at your location? If not, you are well advised to switch. Reliance offers this plan that is closest to BSNL's Home 500 C+: Plan Name: Limited 550 Speed: 600 kbps ~ 2000 kbps Monthly fee: Rs. 550/- plus service tax Usage Limit: 2.5 GB Extra Usage: 0.90/MB Night Unlimited: Not mentioned
