Hi all,
I tried to get a broadband connection through reliance landline phone. They given new phone connection first, later they took 500 Rs. as security deposit from me. After 2 months (trying a lot) they said not feasible to give the broadband connection. I asked them for refund the amount. All customer care people and local sales people are not giving proper response. Any body the best way to get back the refund amount? If not possible let me know the procedure to go for consumer count?

Please avoid giving security deposit or whatever? Once installation done then only pay the amount.
Please don't belive bangalore reliance sales people. they are as follows.

most of them are like cheaters... please don't believe in reliance...

I surrendered my Landline 7 months back, and they promised to give the refund after 3 months. Still there is no clue when I will get it, or else I will ever get it at all.

When i applied for connection, I paid 3000 and got it on the same day in the evening.

When they can TAKE my money in A day, WHY can't they return in THREE months.

Somewhere I read, THESE PEOPLE ARE CORPORATE BEGGARS. Seems real !

My small calculation is: If they can defer or deny the deposit of say 3000 for 1 lakh people. You can calculate how many crores they make.

Lodge a good complaint at Consumer Online Resources & Empowerment Centre. Many times people don't know how to complain effectively. write to the point and give facts and figures.

if core.nic.in does not work--they have been having some technical difficulties, write to icrpc.org and they should be able to help you.
