Question Should I go for Reliance?

    Hi,
I want to take a broadband connection at home. I stay in BTM stage I.
Airtel doesn't have free lines down there & BSNL is a time-consuming affair.
Could anyone please help me in deciding the ISP I should go for?
    Sify, Tata Indicom or Reliance?
or do we have other better options in BTM Stage I?

    Subhajeet

The problem with your choices are that you have ruled out the good ISP(airtel and BSNL) and left with few of the worst IPS available in the world. Reliance, tata and Sify are equally bad . You can go with any one of the bad isp as the experience you will have will any way be bad.

The experience might be good if you are lucky. but i assure you that you will not get any kind of service form any of these ISP

Look at the cost and your requirement and go for any one with suits you

    Thanks for replying.
I haven't ruled out Airtel, actually they have ruled my place out .
Regarding BSNL, I am not sure, what all is needed and how much time it takes.
Also, I am not sure how the govt. system works.
If anyone can help me in this, I wuld appreciate it too.

problem with BSNL is when you have a connection it works great
but getting a connection is a big problem
I have friends who have applied 6 months ago for BSNL broad band but still have not got it.

they is a saying on Vidhana Sowda in bangalore "Goverment work is gods work" (so leave to god)

currently after i changed my house as i too dont have airtel or bsnl i have booked reliance wi max 150 kbps unlimited plan, still waiting for the connection so cannot say how it works

I have reliance broadband. It is the most economical of the lot. I am not too sure about the service, though.

But once U get the connection it is seamless, non stop. Really good.
