Default Dual Boot - Authentication Error

Hi people,

I'm using Reliance Broadnet (NOT wireless) connected through an ADSL modem.

I've recently installed Ubuntu (Linux variant) along with windows on a different partition, and choose which OS to boot from when I start.

The problem is, if I try and switch OS's by shutting down and choosing another one (say Ubuntu), I get an "Authentication Error" when I try and log in to the Internet through Firefox. I'm able to reach the reliance webpage in order to input my Username and password.

If I wait for sometime and shut off my computer for say an hour, I can use the net again from the other OS. But then when I switch back to windows, I get the same problem.

Does anyone have a suggestion to help me out?

Thanks.

Yours Sincerely

Bhagwad Jal Park

dude, do one thing, call the customer care and let them know that you are not able to log in. Dont tell them that you are using 2 OS, bcoz for them its just like 2 computers. What I can sense that while logging out from the page in linux there is some problem.

No there is no problem with your machine, but the problem with Reliance login out Java script. But I dont think so you can help as i am also facing the same trouble from november and they say that i dont know how to log out....

Dear Friend, while switching from one OS to another, first logout from Reliance, now you can login to reliance in another OS without any complication. I suffered a lot with this issue and logic flashed in my mind and it is working fine right now.
