Default Reliance broadband night unlimited 300 kbps plan is ok?

    Hi,

    I newly joined indiabroadband forum.
I want to have a broadband connection. Till now i have aproached, sify, airtel, they say they cannot give connection where i live i.e. in pune.
And bsnl i dont rely upon as my landline of bsnl itself is dead from 4 months, so i supposedly cannot use broadband of bsnl w/o my landline working..

I am left with no other option than Tata & Reliance, of which tata has increased its rates a minimum of 1000 bucks p.m. & 2000 installation & security deposit.

So i want to know about reliance, whether it is ok? I am planning ro select postpaid night unlimited plan of 300kbps speed. Is the plan ok?

    Thanks and regards,
    Aniket

When you have plan to go for new broadband connection, these are the general suggestions i would like to provide regardless of service provider

    a) go for unlimited plan...because you wont need to keep tracking of when you connect and when you dont. No need to worry abt billing too. Its a fixed price.

    b) bandwidth depends on your need. You planned a very good bandwidth

    c) Customer Serivce. This is much more important.

I wouldn't say its the worst.

From the opinions I've gathered , I feel it really depends on the area where yu live in. in sme areas and in sme cities people say that their reliance cnnections are very stable and live up to the promised transfer rates. But like all things in india, theres always an anthithesis. Just browsing through the pages of this site u would find a surprising number of disgruntled reliance customers peppered with a few satisfied ones.

My suggestion would be to find somene in yur neighbourhood or at least city and enquire there. Maybe u might find somene here.

And like many before me, I wuld reccomend the unlimited plan for obvious reasons.
