    Angry LawSuit Against Reliance

    Story so far: Got my internet connection 2 weeks back. Speed was horrible, google will take hours to open. Left with no other choice to call Customer(Deaf/Dumb) care. 5 Cases were opened so far. All closed with same update, called user and issue resolved, which is False as no one called me.
    I wanted to cancell my connection and refund will not be given.
    -I want to sue reliance for the negligence. We need to stop them from fooling people and eat peoples money.
    _ Advice. How many of you are with me???

    wat type of conection u have...even i had same prob with my data card previously..

    Yes. The connection type will determine the speed. If you have got a Datacard or Wi Max or Hi Speed Internet then you will get a maximum speed of 144 kbps or 18 KB/s. Broadband is classified as 256 kbps (32 KB/s) or above.

    You can opt for disconnection and refund should take place within 30 days. Read the service agreement carefully, especially on refunds. Normally, you can expect refund of all deposits and advance payments (less actual usage). But you will not be refunded for installation charges, modem charges, service tax, etc.

    Default 300 Kbps Unlimited

    I use 300 Kbps unlimited Wireline connection. Will post the case numbers and other details soon.

    Did you go to the consumer court? or you mean case numbers of reliance customer support?

    Really we need to get some thing done to make reliance broadband to be blacklisted

    you just have 4, i have more than 45 tickets raised in a span of 3 months with no resolution
    finally disconnected it and happy about it

    Do yourself a favour and switch to another isp .. airtel broadband may be.

    Wise!!. But unfortunately, i dont have Airtel availability at my place. One of the port in Airtel switch is not working, they have tried many times.. So sadddd...... I have also tried TATA wireless, but very low signal at my place. Reliance is my only way out.

    What about the lawsuit, have you made up your mind in pursuing legal recourse.

    i did not have any other choice
    i stay in a remote location and there i dont have any wired connection
    i had to go for tata and reliance, i choose reliance as it was cheap for the initial cost, if it does not work i was ready to move to tata and that is what i did

    now my tata wimax is working fine, no issue seen till now, i also have their tower near my house

    haha, you think that a call will fix the issue
    I have got so many calls from such manager with no result
    i had escalated my issue to the nodal officer and the appellant officer with no result

    The management want the issue to get resolved but if the engg are a bunch of dumb fools how do you think you will get a resolution

    We need a regulatory body like they have in UK OFCOM which will take care of such issues for the customers and the company would have to pay us.

    Its good for companies like reliance that we dont have an ombudsman monitoring broadband activities... else, anil ambani will have to spend all his fortunes on given customers like us compensation for the trouble and false promise they create.

    And good news guys. Finally I got this resolved by writing mails to these mail id's below

    It helped us.

    The reliance guys came rushing to my home one day. They inquired about the mails to the CEO office. It seems they screwed them up on a call.

    Great that Anil Ambani reads customer's mails

    So I am sharing this so that It might be helpful for some of my dear friends who suffer the same.

    After I got it resolved it is working great for the past 3 months without any downtime and at good speed.
