Angry Never go for reliance

Hi all,

I am using Reliance Broadnet connection.

I have taken 450/- plan, and the agent said i will get around 15Kb/sec download speed and the net speed also is high.

But presently the download speed is maximum 8Kb/sec.

To download 4MB file, it takes 30 minutes to 45 minutes.

So i think i am one of the victim of Reliance Broadnet. Previously i used tataindicom 750/- plan it looks good for me.

If is there any good plans for different service providers let me know.

Thanks,
Uday.

u r in 75kbps plan....so the speed u r getting is perfect. u r getting worth for wat u r paying so no need to complain. If u want 15KBps dwnld speed than go for 150kbps plan (rs. 750 pm).
U r not a victim of Reliance broadnet...u r a victim of misunderstanding the plan....

Hi,

Then why this reliance customer care people or agents will say like that:
definitely you will get download speed of 15KB/Sec. and only reliance and Airtel are the only 2 service providers give the direct connection from router/antena.

If they tell like that, then people will think that they are true(download speed of 15Kb/Sec) and take the connection.

Until they take the connection they dont know the download speed(6Kb/Sec).

People just think about this plan. To download a 4MB file(one mp3 song) it is taking 45 minitues. See how dead slow it is.

Hi Anusheri, dont suggest these type of plans to the other people. If you would to hang with this plan, just taste this plan and enjoy......

Thanks & Regards,
Uday.

How u can say it is slow...u go for ne isp..for 75kbps u get only 7-8 KBps..whether it is airetel or Tata..t is not only case for reliance u keep that in mind...& looking to ur post i dont think u hv ne idea abt kbps & KBps..notice the diff. of b & B.. U say 15kbps, u know wat is the actual dwnld speed it is....2KBps
b=bits & B=bytes. Neways i wont get into that..u can chk other posts to make out that diff. & BTW I am in 2mbps plan ....& i get dwnld speed of 220-240 KBps speed....u want that ...?? ur 4mb song will dwnld in 2 min. Pay for it & u will get it..

And who am I to suggest ne plan to nebody...u said u want 15KBps speed so i said go for 150kps plan

I have a reliance data card and I guess thats what you are talking about... I get a constant speed of 10-15KB/sec and a little bit slower when I am travelling depending upon th proximity to the reliance tower.

You probbably havent checked speeds at different locations and your home is a bit to far from the nearest tower... Have you tried your terrace? I am sure you will see increased speeds if you are located a bit closer to the tower.

I think it is not data card....he says Broadnet....& reliance uses this word for their either wired line service or wimax service..& they dont offer 75kbps plan in wimax so it has to b wired line.....

Ahh I see.
In that case 75kbps is 9.something KB/sec and if you get around 8kB/sec that sounds about right in my opinion.

If some one at Reliance promised you 15KB/s on a 75kbps connection then he/she just lied to you.
