    hi all,
cheers everone :w00t:, i have great solution for this

    ok, download the following software
    outlookmessenger from the site outlookmessenger.com
it is completely free, around 6MB of exe.

    now install it.
after installation is complete, it will automatically ask for setting, just click ok,ok....
    [just keep this default setting]
    it is like yahoo messenger.

now whoever in the same city and has this software installed and running, will be automatically added in this messenger
thats it. you can chat in free, without login into your reliancebroadband.co.in website. this will not cost anything....
voice chat is also available, can transfer file upto 1MBPS speed
you can make new friends in your city... isnt it cool...

if u get success, reply here thanx........

Outlook Messenger is a LAN software -meaning it wouldnt go on the internet (unless configured or hacked a little) And it doesn't automatically add users from the same city/locale as the first post mentioned. Try LAN Chat - LAN Messenger Screens Should give you a better picture

I used to. When I had an airtel connection earlier I shared wiht my neighbors using my Linksys WRT switch and Vyatta router. We used outlook messenger to chat within the LAN. And like I meantioned in the earlier post - outlook messenger is only used in and inside network and not on the internet. It's only a LAN messenger. If you want to share files over the internet you could use gtalk, yahoo messenger, msn messenger, IRC, p2p (uTorrent, bitTorrent etc)
