Rep Power: 9   |  R-GSM 75p STD offer is a lie Reliance came out with much fan fare and announced that their GSM subscribers would be able to make local calls @ 50p and STD calls @ 75p. However, its a sham and what they really mean is that R-GSM subscribers are charges local calls @ Re.1 and STD @ Rs.1.50 R-GSM subscribers would get double talk-time for all recharge upto 31st march. So the effective rate becomes 50p/75p only. This clarification is not there in any of their releases/ads. People only realise the fact after actually using it. |

| Amor vincit omnia | Ok so it is like they give us double TT, but the rates are the same. Even i had noticed that i am getting charged 1/- for local calls instead of 50p. Was thinking of contacting the CC. Thanks indeed for the info. Clever !! |
