Default R-CDMA Calling Cards: Cheapest universal STD Option on Date

Not many are aware of the STD Calling Cards (National Calling Card - NCC) offered by Reliance CDMA.
The cards can be loaded to any R-CDMA pre-paid or post-paid connection and can be accessed by pre-fixing *375 to the calling no. at the time of making the call. One can even same the no. with the prefix in the phone book and directly dial from the phone book. Calls made this way gets charged to the STD Calling card rather than the normal pre-paid/post-paid a/c of the phone. However, the main phone needs to remain active (i.e. with validity) for the Calling card to work.
The unutilised amount gets carried forward provided a new card is loaded within the Card Validity period or Grace period.
The Cards can be used for the same calling rates even while roaming as against the case of normal pre-paid/post-paid where higher rates apply for roaming.

Some of the options presently available are

    No.
The NCC works on the concept of having two connections on the same number. The NCC is a prepaid connection. It does not have any linkage with your postpaid connection. So nothing will reflect in your normal monthly bill.

Panchabhut is there something like ISD calling with RCdma??
There was something like that in BSNL, but that was with landline, but now no landlines..

if that is possible, it would be better for me..

Yes. Like NCC, there is also the option for Global Calling Cards (GCC).
The cards in denominations of 125 to 2250 with validity of 30 to 90 days.
The call rates are different for different denomination cards with the loest rate of Rs.1.75 for US/Canada for 2250 card (Val 90 days)

You can check the details from their http://www.rcom.co.in/Rcom/personal/callingcards/globalcallingcards.html?std=GlobalCallingCards&sub Std=1
