Reliance Communications have come out with a new service which is mobile conferencing. This service of theirs will support both CDMA and GSM networks.
Reliance has teamed up with a US based networks company, who will offer the solution through an IP packet based exchange system. There will also be two key conferencing services, one will be mobile scheduling conferencing and the other mobile instant conferencing.
The feature can be activated with just one click from their phone address book.
The mobile conferencing service will be offered for Rs99 per month. The service will be accessible through R-world and it will be supported by Blackberry, Java, Symbian, Windows mobile operating system, BREW.
The service can be accessed by immediate dial out, and any of your contacts, business colleagues, consumers and social networking groups can join a conference, through a wireless or wireline phone whether its local or long distance.
