Reliance has heated up the mobile tariff war with the introduction of its SIMPLE plans in all circles for both CDMA and GSM.

PREPAID PLAN
One time STV recharge Rs.48
lifetime validity
all local calls - 50p/min
all STD calls - 50p/min
all incoming and outgoing (local/STD) calls while roaming- 50p/min
all SMSes – local or national - 50p/SMS
no monthly charges for prepaid

To activate on existing Prepaid connection SMS "ACT SIMPLE" to 53739 (Rs.48 would be deducted from Main balance)

To Activate in existing postpaid connection, SMS "SUB SIMPLE99" or "SUB SIMPLE399) call Customer Care and indicate choice of Plan (S-99 or S-399)

TRAI is in motive of making all the telcom operators to offer atleast one plan charging 1s/1p for customer...if that too is enforced rcom definitely has to face it either by further reduction of call cost or giving 1s/1p tariff..vodafone,aircel,bsnl(),mts,idea have already started to offer 1s/1p tariff plan on selected circles....
