Reliance is all set to launch 4G phones ranging from Rs.4,000 to 25000 this month!

One of the leading corporates in India, Reiance Retail is launching 4G phones worth Rs.4k (approx $67) to Rs.25k (approx. $417) in December. This will be under their new LYF brand smartphones, which consists of four segments called Earth, Water, Fire and Wind. Initially the company will be releasing premium Earth series this month and Water series will follow soon. Fire and Wind will be included in the second phase of the rollout plan.

It is said that the handsets will be available on e-commerce sites like Amazon, Flipkart and Snapdeal. More details about these models are yet to be revealed by the company.

It's smartphone that they are launching but it's 4G data services which will be game changer for d rest.

I wonder how strong the signal of this phone is. I remember my Uninor serviced Sony Phone have no signal when I visited my Grandma in Pondicherry. My connection is disarranged just because I am in a different location.

Reliance 4G already launched on beta mode for the employees. Official launch expected on 28th Dec (birthday of Dhirubhai). But actual consumer end operation is not expected before April.
