Its Reliance Broadband+ dude not NetConnect+ .... and u can get 2.x MBPS speed in first tier cities ..... i am using it
I booked the connection on friday, expecting delivery today... Have seen the demo and it was pretty decent with good browsing speed. I glad that reliance has come up with this high speed device, will write my own review soon..
Even i have booked my connection delivered today, i am writing a review on reliance's service which is good and decent.. just you have to remember it your MDN number..
ur MDN number is behind the box (which has your wireless device)
and its automatically remembered by your modem !
it ll be a fake one .. since its being going up for a long process and money eating one so bewaree of that who ll suck your money instead...
Hi,
Hope u've got your Netconnect+ connection by now. How do you find it? I'm planning to buy one but really worried about the coverage. I'm in Bangalore and can;t see my place in their coverage map. Do I need to go strictly with the coverage map? I mean is it something concerning not to see my area in their map? Will it still work?
Please guide as you can...
I have used it in places which was not shown in the coverage map (Example : Outskirts of coimbatore city [Neither BSNL nor TATA Photon has coverage there ) i got Broadband speeds just slightly lesser than what i got in Chennai
I am 100% sure you ll get very good coverage in Banglore
If you want to be sure just contact the reliance guys in your area .... they ll give you a live demo in a place that you specify to show you the speeds ... they also accurately know upto which area you ll get coverage
Reliance Netconnnect (alongwith 3G) ushers in the era or true mobile broadband in India.
But as Reliance Netconnect is a USB dongle, it will score over mobile 3G.
the service is presently available only for postpaid connections
please state in clear understandable english what you want to know
Reliance BB+ does not come with a SIM. the no. is hard-coded into the modem device and can not be transferred.
As EVDO service comes under 3G when coupled with voice facility and pvt. operators can not offer 3G, the vioce call facility is disabled in both Reliance BB+ and TATA Photon.
As per official website TATA photon+ does not have any prepaid option and also comes in Non-RUIM (hardcoded number) mode only
High Speed Internet Access USB Tariffs
My suggestion for Reliance Netconnect Broadband+ would be a BIG NO. There are frequent disconnections, the net going slow occasionally.
And, as far as service is concerned, I have experienced the worst service ever in my life. Reliance Netconnect is not worth believing. They believe in sales only. So, if you got spare money, pay 3500/- to get the device and struggle to get at least a fair service.
My rating would be 0 out of 10. because without a service, any company is a waste
surprising
In which city do u live in
i travel a lot in South India but have not once ever experienced speeds that were not BB

:stupid:I always hear negative remarks from Anti-Reliance fans. Always they go whine about Airtel, BSNL and TATA who aren't actually as good as Reliance is.Something ought to be done about these peoples.:2guns: I have been usin' Reliance for about 3 months now. I am more than satisfied with the performance on the whole. I get around 2.5 - 2.8Mb/s at day times and about 1.9 - 2.1Mb/s at nights.:thumbup1: The speed actually depends on where are you at. If you are off the city limits or an area which doesn't have maximum coverage there the speed can be reasonably low. So better change your residence to either Coimbatore or Mumbai to enjoy top-notch service from Reliance.:34:
Although I haven't used BSNL myself I can still say it is no where near Reliance. After all, what can you possibly expect from a Government owned service that has no infrastructure, support and professionalism?:asshole:
I have used TATA. The problem with TATA is that every month I got my bills at a staggering rate of Rs.3500.sama: Although I haven't done anything much to reach that rates. I knew, if I am going to produce bills at these rates I am sure my parents would go bankrupt at one point which is why I withdrew TATA services for all the good reasons.
My Friend uses Airtel and his reviews were pretty good on its own term.
You have made a wise choice already for which you will never regret, Amit.
By the way, nilesh, if you would only give a "0" for Reliance Net Connect on a scale of 10. Will you at east give an "1" for a 100Mbps connection that has no proper service ?:stupid:
