Thread: Netconnect High Speed 1x

Dear All,

I got a Net Connect High Speed 1x, 4 months ago and found later that is not compatible with Limewire or many other P2P software, So now I can just use it for checking mails and surfing and no downloading

So is there any policy where I can return and get a refund, or like upgrading it to NetConnect Broadband with minimal amount.

Or many be if any one who is not into downloading , if i want to sell it or give it to them , then what is the procedure.

You can use a proxy to download even if some ports are blocked.

I have a reliance netconnect broadband plus usb modem and it woks fine with utorrent.

I read in same forum , that it is not ports , its is P2P Software like Lime wire, is not compatible with Data card, which leads to Blue Screen error.

1. Netconnect 1x is not mobile broadband ....... its similar to TATA Surf to Whiz

Note that Reliance Netconnect 1x(around 200kbps) is very different from Reliance Netconnect Broadband+ (3.1 mbps)

2. The broadband+ does not restrict access to any sites or p2p clients ... I dont know about Netconnect 1x
