    Default Suggestion please

    Hi friends i am new here this is an awesome site
    i am sify user i am very happy with it they provide very good service but i want more speed they give 34kbps in day time & 68kbps in night so i thought for changing it.

    now i wanna buy reliance netconnect not plus
    with unlimited plan of (Rs.1099) prepaid i have visited there site which tells they give speed upto 144kbps is it true.

    your advice will be very helpful

    Reliance netcoonect is 144 kbps - that is - kilo bits per second. When you connect, your internet speed will be maximum of 18 kBps - that is kilo bytes per second.

    But that is in theory. You are more likely to get 12~15 kBps.

    (p/s. I assume that you know kbps vs. kBps)

    Reliance netconnect is meant for the person on the move who likes to do simple browsing and check/reply emails. It is not meant for downloading. Also the charges are high.

    It does not give 144 kbps

    I am using it .... get around 12- 15 max very rarely around 20 Kbps

    lol busybee I guess you were too busy to check what kix had mentioned. He has clearly mentioned about kbps & kBps. so go through again & you will correct yourself
