    Question

    HI rajesh1136,

I am from hyderabad. I purchased bsnl evdo AC8700 800M for Rs 3640/- on 16/01/2010. they promised 2.4 mbps, but i get hardly 10%(200kbps) of it. i even tryed in non peak hours but it never crossed 200kbps. I wonder u r planning to shift to bsnl where as i am planning to shift to reliance. Wats the problem with reliance. Is reliance also offering very poor service in your location. please tell me your location.
if it is really possible to convert from one service to other without again purchase of modem please let me know. I also seen that the device has a port for inserting a sim in it. i am thinking that we can buy reliance cdma and can opt for their service.

    Hi Gopi,
I too from KPHB ,Hyderabad using Reliance Broadband+ from 3 months with 10GB city wide plan.My data card is Huawei EC1260. I am looking for unlimited package like BSNL EVDO.In my area i am getting download speeds 50KBps(400kbps) to 150 KBps(1200 kbps) using Internet Download Manager.Surfing speed is bit low 20 to 50KBps(400kbps).Actual speed depends on many factors like distance from tower etc. Let me know your place in Hyd. If possible we may exchange our devices after checking speeds at our own places if interested.
    If interested mail me at

Default Hello techbt iam from Motinagar

Hello friend, Firstly i want to say your Internet Download mannager doesn't going to increase your download speed. It only helps in managing the downloads in a neat way. System becomes more slow to run the programme. If your system is fast it is ok else i refer only to download in Firefox browser. even if you restart the system it continuous downloading from that point. I think u know it.
I think bsnl is really waste. Mine also showing same speed but rarely crosses 700 kbps. Also in additional mine as one more disease that is connectivity. I stay just 1/4 km from pole even in bsnl office it din't cross 500kbps. Still it doesn't download at full speed.
    Bye

Relaince NetConnect Broadband + Evdo works on 3G network and where 3G wont be available it will work on CDMA.
