    Please mention model/make HUAWEI EC 1260 d. F
    I think you use a dialer to connect to Reliance, and same procedure to be done for BSNL EV-DO.
    Some settings may require changes in the unit.
    Details wanted. Rarely it will be locked to a particular ISP.
    Check with BSNL whether they allow User's own
    USB modem?

    Well, i don't think bsnl allows that, or in other words they even its possible! (u know how people at bsnl are) If bsnl was using a RUIM then there could have been a possibility but they don't, so my opinion is negative about it.

    Anyways, my question is reverse to yours... can i use bsnl evdo ZTE AC8700 (with RUIM slot) with Tata/Reliance, if yes, would it be 1X or EVDO or both? Please also describe the process, if there's any tweaking required.

    @rajesh1136
    Reliance EVDO connection is RUIM based or is it like bsnl, modem has RUIM slot but not required.

    It is not having any RUIM slot. Just having a micro SD slot so we can use it as inbuilt pen drive too. .believe me.. i used 8g card inside it worked well.

    It has a rium slot with a dummy plastic sim. you can remove the sticker above the memory slot pl see it.
