Is Reliance NetConnect good for gaming ? I am planning to host private online gaming server next month & currently I am a subscriber of Airtel Broadband but Airtel offers me very low upload speeds. I have noticed this quite often that Reliance offers almost 1:1 download/upload speeds. So is anybody in Delhi using this let me know if they really offer 3.1mbps speed as they advertise ? I am really in a need of internet that can offer me high upload speeds at lower costs.

uh?? you are wrong mate, Airtel provides 1:1 Upload speed not Reliance.

Is something wrong with you ??? I m talking about the upload speed....not the download speed. You are confusing yourself with what download & upload speeds are. Airtel provides ADSL service which means either your download stream will be higher or your upload. Airtel has never provided almost 1:1 speeds. If you are getting almost the same upload speed on higher tariff plans of 1mbps or 2mbps, then post some screenies. Airtel is barely giving 1mbps upload speed on Impatience Plans.

It seems you don't know anything about Airtel, or you are just Reliance lover and Airtel Hater.

Airtel provides 1:1 upload speed, infact many times their upload speed is more than download speed.

Abe champ FYI, I have been using Airtel broadband since 2005. It looks like you are living in your own fantasy world which doesn't understands the difference between ADSL & DSL. Your speed is an exception & clearly you are in Mumbai so why the hell did you started thinking that this will be same for every state or city in India. Seriously, you are arguing with me about Airtel's upload speeds even though I have clearly mentioned that my upload speed is low. I have tried arguing with the customer care & with highly reputed persons in Airtel. None of them can help me. All they said is that Airtel uses ADSL & so the upload speeds are bound to be low. There might be exceptions(5-10%) like your case so you should drop this myth, come out of your fantasy world & realize the truth that Airtel does not provides high upload speeds eveywhere. I am not a reliance broadband lover but I have seen almost everyone getting upload speeds comparable to the download speeds.


Coming back to the topic, has anybody else got anything to suggest ?
