Thread: Difference: Broadband & High Speed 1x

I live in Bangalore. I want to known the different between Broadband and High Speed 1x.
I'm thinking of Reliance Netconnect option.

Broadband+ which provides 3.1Mbps but almost you will get upto 2.2Mbps to 2.5Mbps that be if you r in HSD coverage area(with in 1KM distance). Where as 1X provides only 128kbps hardly while in the application it will comes upto 60 to 80kbps the downloading will be 14Kbps if your getting full signals.

One more is Hybrid mode where get combination of Broadband+ and 1X. Means when Broadband+ signals fluctuates it redirects to 1X mode.

I've a Desktop , so its better to go for Broadband connection rather than 1x, right ?

I checked in the Reliance website for the signal coverage, yes i fall well near the points shown in the map. And also few blocks from my house there some towers. Do you think the signal will be fine.

And also, is it possible to change from one package to another package after using one for a month and also is it possible to change from postpaid to prepaid ?

And also this Reliance Broadband comes with USB modem, right
