Thread: Reliance Netconnect Doesnt work without Connecting to my corporate's VPN Server

Hi All..

I got Reliance Netconnect Data Card from my corporate office.

Issue is i am not able to access internet when i sucessfully connect to Reliance Netconnect

I am only able to browse interner once i connect to VPN server of my corporate office.

Also i get private IP once i connect usign relience netconnect.

How can i browse internet without doing VPN, this will help me to use my datacard on other computer i have at my home...

One possible way to have another ID/PW for Home use and log with Home Computer using same net connect card.

I want i a way that it should work without VPN and like just plug the card to any comp n start using net,,

my other data card which i bought works perfectly..

i really dont know whats setting with this one..

Help me out.. little urgent

see the networks for direct connection and to VPN network.

Let me make things more simpler...

When i connect to Relience netconnect broadband.. I get PRivate IP Address.. Do everyone ger private IP?

So i am not able to ping any of the public IP (yahoo, gmail, 4.2.2.2, etc etc)..

But my company asked me to dial vpn connection to company's VPN server, once internet connection show me connected in Releince netconnect's software dialer..

After VPN i am able to browse internet n all but due to am connected via VPN facebook n other stuff doesnt work..

i dont want to play with setting after VPN connection.. but get internet working once i dial using relience netconnect...

The point is the Netconnect unit has been "Locked " to access internet ONLY via the VPN network. ( which is a secured connection, so that outsiders cannot access your office servers/data etc )Permission to access Internet is incidental.
Assume you have the same net connect account with a different ID and PW without spending money to purchase the card.
If you enter these instead of Office ID/PW, perhaps you can connect.
But the setting VPI/VCI for VPN and direct Internet seem to be diferent and will fail. ( BSNL 0 33 VPN and 0 35 internet probably )
Suggest try with a friend Id and PW
