If you have Windows 7 OS in Laptop "A" ( connected to net Connect)
an application called "connectify" will make Laptop "A" as an access point for Laptop B( * restricted range )
    or
You have to buy a 3G wifi router. Details if needed.

Yes, Connectify is free and good if you have Windows 7 Home Premium or above in any of your laptops. You can also use them in your desktop (provided it meets the OS requirements mentioned above) if you can buy a USB WiFi card (costs around Rs. 900).

3G WiFi routers are costly. You can Google (or search in this forum) for the same.

No problem, you do not need 3G to use Connectify.

Simply install Connectify in laptop B and make it a WiFi hotspot. You have to install it first. Find the link below

Your Hotspot, Your Way - Connectify

Try it, if you have any problems, please let me know.

You need not buy anything. Simply install Windows 7 Home Premium or above in the machine you desire to use Connectify.

Try the netconnect and application connectify (Post No 5 ) in Laptop B first.
Then if wifi mode working OK in Laptop A
upgrade OS in Laptop A ( Vista now ) to Windows 7

Sorry, didn't follow. Are you able to see the " Connectify " WiFi network on other laptop ? Hope you tried it on a Windows 7 system (it will not work on Vista).
