Default Reliance Netconnect Broaddban+ Plan Query - want to use it on Huawei Datacard

    Hi,
I am planning to switch to Reliance Netconnect Broadband+ and I want to activate below 800 Rs Prepaid Plan.

    Reliance Netconnect::Tariff Plans

I have Huawei UMG 1831 modem.

If I buy Reliance GSM prepaid sim card and then do the recharge for 800Rs (check the above link for details) than below plan will be activated or not.

800Rs 5 GB on HSD speeds thereafter unlimited free usage on 1X speeds.

My conclusion for the question is that : "is it possible to use Reliance Netconnect Broaddban+ Plan on datacard other than it's provided datacard by doing Reliance Netconnect Broaddban+ Plan recharge on normal Reliance GSM simcard?"

Reliance netconnect is CDMA and it will work only with the propritory modem given by them.
Dont go for post paid though they will offer you monthly Rs 200 discount and data card will cost you around Rs 1500-1700.
If you are willing to spend on a new card, go ahead.
Netconnect at best will give you 1 to 1.5 mbps .average 512-700 kbps only. Not 3.6 mbps.

After FUP ,you will get very slow internet (slower than Vodaphone/Airtel gprs speeds -they are the best in gprs speeds)

since you have UMG1831 ,get one voda and airtel prepaid sims and recharge gprs pack and check.
ok only for browsing not download or youtube.

You can keep 3G data pack activated sim too and use it sparingly.
3G- 5GB will cost easily more than Rs 750.

    Thanks for your reply.
As BSNL microsim 3G unlimited is stopped, thats why I have to search for different alternate.

Do you have any idea about speed based plans of Rel Net Conn + broadband??

    Speed Based Plans :

Tariff Plan Monthly Rental Free Usage Bundled/Month Extra Usage Roaming
    Anytime/Day Usage Night Usage
    BrdBnd15GDy20GNgt750 Rs. 750/- 15 GB 20 GB 50 p / MB Nationwide
    BrdBnd8GDy15GNgt500 Rs. 500/- 8 GB 15 GB 50 p / MB Nationwide
    BrdBnd5GDy10GNgt400 Rs. 400/- 5 GB 10 GB 50 p / MB Nationwide

How much download speed this speed based plans gives??

And once again thanks for the reply.
