Thread: Torrent speeds in flatrate 1000kbps

Is anybody in this plan? if yes please post your avg speeds on torrents.. The thing is that even on well seeded private torrents i get only an average of 100-110KBps(800-900kbps) max where as actual speeds for 1000kbps should be 125KBps(1000/8)

soeed depends upon various factors, if you are getting 100-110 on 1Mbps plan then don't worry its fine

and one more thing here
average speed (in books) of 1Mbps connection should be 1024/8=128

1Mb is 1024kbps

1mb is 1024kbps agreed.. But reliance plan is 1000kbps not 1mbps

I get around 150KBps for well seeded torrents.... though i wish they had better connectivity.. their conn is very very unstable..

Is this wired reliance broadband you are talking about of thier wimax connections?

Sorry just realised that I am in the reliance wimax subforum here so must be wimax...

I thought reliance wimax problems were all sorted... when you say very unstable... what exactly do you mean, does it go down every now and then for a second or two or stays down for hours together or what?
