Thread: How many days will they take to terminate?

hey guys, i gave the request for termination on the 25th of oct right after booking my airtel, my bill cycle date is 24th to 23rd of each month.

they have till date not terminated the connection and the stuff is still installed at my place. i called up the stupid cc 3 times, and all they say is that the termination process can take up to 360hrs!

nobody even confirmed whether i was sure to terminate within 72hrs of the termination request, as was claimed by them.

i just told the cc guy yesterday that i'm not going to pay any bill that comes to my place this month and onwards (and i'm sure i wouldn't:nono.

what should i do?

i think you can wait for them to call you now and they may charge you on pro rata basis otherwise may be they will send you bill of complete month coz you called to cancel in new billing cycle

a call came from reliance few mins back, asking why r u quitting, just told him i've got airtel , dint ask anything more...lol... asked him whether i will be billed for the current month too or not, he said i wud be billed till the date i registered for termination.

but i still can't trust these reliance fellows... i have a feeling i will be getting a big fat bill of the whole month.

I assure u starrynight that u will definetly get the bill for this month as well as after termination also. Take my word on that....their billing system or shud I say WHOLE system of processing the connection rite from the form fill up to termination is useless. Same applies for mobile also. Just to make sure that ur request of termination is regd with them give them a written application & get it counter signed.

ok thanx for the response anusheri, i have emailed them with the details of the termination, all the dates, the termination req no., what the guy said to me about not being billed, everything.
