Rep Power: 0 | Hi, This is my first query here. I recently took reliance WiMax 400 Kbps connection. The connection works good when its directly connected to my comp. I have a desktop and laptop. I bought a Trendnet Wireless router from US to browse internet on both the machines. Normally a router does not share the bandwidth. But i noticed that when i use reliance with router its sharing the bandwidth. Thats uncommon with a router. The settings i applied to router is as follows: I changed my router ip to 192.168.2.x series. Configured it as DHCP to receive ip from ISP. I found that the bandwidth is shared what ever way i connect (Wired or Wireless). Could anyone suggest the cause and is there any fix for this. Is wi-max connection always shared. Thanks in advance. |
