Rep Power: 0 | had applied for wimax connection and next day the installer was available. he did some setup of antena(tesima i guess). and just plugged the network cable to my laptop. set the obtain ip automatically option and was checking if the network was available. but my lappy was showing "network cable disconnected". the guy got another of his latptop and showed me that net was available on it. he then left and assured me that someone will come later next day. now even after 2 days no one had turned up. in case you guys know how to fix this, then do let me know. Thanks, Chetan |

Rep Power: 0 | Assign static ip address to your PC in the subnet 192.168.1.x Then try to access 192.168.1.1 However, i doubt if you will be able to do much with the SS login as the device provisioning is done remotely and signal scanning is automated. Though you can see some signal strength stats and interface statistics. Does anyone know if Reliance SS (Subscriber Station) requires Line of Sight(LOS) or is it a Non Line of Sight(NLOS) deployment? |
