Default Wimax mumbai pings gaming
Hi,

Can someone using reliance wimax(preferably mumbai) plz check what pings the following servers give?

202.63.160.44 (v-street)

202.156.3.176:27016 (SG tf2 server)

Also, how will distance from tower affect what ping i get?

v street is pinging 56 from a wimax nerul connection..

and sg is pinging 122 avg..

well the distance from the tower will affect the quality of the connection..the ping may be the same.. but there may be data and packet loss... much like in the case of wireless routers..

i second that .... ping times are not always the correct indicative of speed and performance.
