Thread: TataSky Site

hi all

i have an issue with the tata sky site. The site home opens up easily, however when i try to log in , i get the message -cannot open this page. I have a reliance wi max connection and i use Vista home basic. Pls help me o this

Are u able to ping or tracert to the mentioned website?

On the run window type cmd. U will get a black window. On this window type tracert Google. Replace google.com with the domain which u are finding difficult to access.

Verify whether u are able to do that.

i was able to tracert, however the issues is something different, i am able to open the the tata sky site, however i am not able to login as a subscriber, is vista a issue here

Have u tried logging into the site in any other OS than Vista. Frankly i dont think your OS at fault. Try switching the browser to firefox or opera.

ok will try firefox and see if this site opens, and if does than IE7 is an issue , right ?

Yes it maybe !!

the tata sky site was a breeze on fire fox. the issue lies with IE7,

Now my question is , how to resolve this issue on IE7, we can't let this issue remain open.

All members try and help resolve this issue.

Have u tried contacting the CC? Did u try the site with IE7 installed in other PCs?

the other laptop that i have IE 6 and the site opens with ease , i dont know anyone who has IE 7 , so cant check if the site is opening on other systems that have IE7

tata sky login page had some issues with ie7 till some days ago ... but it works perfectly for me with any browser now

Seems like a localized problem for your PC only. Anyways u can also try repairing the current IE.

Have u tried repairing/reinstalling IE7?

as it seems from the posts in this thread by different members ... the problem is probably on your end ... try repairing ie7 ... or reinstall it ... also set the internet options in ie7 to default ..

hey i my os is vista and have a sony vaio, they do not give any CD of the OS.
pls advise how shoild i repair IE 7 on vista
