Default Reliance Bangalore Onsite Pathetic Support - escalation

I have the Reliance wimax connection of (150 kpbs unlimited) from 2008 April. It was stable and was getting around 25-30 kpbs of download speed till last month. The only issue was cable; which is damaged on the roof and that allows water to pour in to the room. This also damage the jack (the contacts are blackened and sparking) at the POE end.

The real issue starts last month as the download speed drops to 12 kpbs and the connection becomes unstable. I logged a complaint with customer care and the enginner called up on the next day morning. They came to my place and found the new building which came up in the month of December is blocking the signal from the tower and agreed to reconfigure it to to a new Antena which came up resecently. He examined the cable and declared it requires a replacement. Unfortunately power was unavialble at that moment and he agreed to return in the evening. So far so good.

Another engineer turned up in the evening. He connected my laptop and shown me the net is working. I told him the issue is not with the connection and explained him the findings of the other engineer. He was not in a mood to listen and left the place after a small arguement.

Next day I found that the call is closed and I logged another for the same issue. One engineer called up and agreed to come by 4 PM. No body arrived and the next day I found the case id closed as "called up customer and he intmated no issues".

I logged 5 complaints for this issues for the last one month and till now nobody turned up and the cases are getting closed after 48 hours.

I wrote a mail to the customercare and even after so many reminders nobody bothers to even reply.

I decided not to pay my due and when the lady called up for the reminder I told her the full story. She agreed to look in this and I got another call yesterday from another engineer and he agreed again to come by 4 PM. Till now no actioons.

I am fed up with this and checking for the ulternate providers. I want to give a last try and if any body know the contact details of the nodal officer of Bangalore, please let me know.

all noted but when u log in the complaint with the customer care make sure u note down the complaint number, if u are not doing that , u are surely in mess.
Next time u call them pls note the complaint number and then call them if nothing happens.

Not paying the bill is not a solution, py the bill and demand for yr connection to be re configured as per agrements.

Keep a track of ur all faulty tickets. Note down the time date & the name of guy whom u talked. This will help u to get waiver or in future ne dispute arising out of this. No point in explaining ur problems to the lady as she must be from the collection agency. Reliance ppl are quite fast in closing the FT. Call them & give ur all FT nos. & insist on speaking to their nodal officer. If u r lucky enough they will pass the line to him/her.

Thanks for all ur suggestions ...

I do have all the complaint ids. They closed them on the second day without any solution or without even speaking to me.

I am not able to get the contat details from the customer care and hence I am searching it here.

I know, not paying the dues is not the solution. But tell me some other way to show protest and anger.

I have logged my seventh complaint logged today and waiting for a call.
