Question Problems with Reliancemail.net

According to the reliance website the SMTP and POP Server for '(at)reliancemail(dot)net' should be:
smtp(dot)reliancemail(dot)net
pop(dot)reliancemail(dot)net

But none of them work for me.

After contacting the customer care, they replied back with this:
smtp(dot)ricmail(dot)com
pop(dot)ricmail(dot)com

The pop server seems to work. But the problem is, when i send any mail using the smtp server the authentication screen pops up again and again, which suggests that the username and password are not valid for it. I have tested the username as well as the full email address but none of the combinations work.

One more point to add here, when i send a mail to myself from my reliancemail(dot)net account, it arrives in my inbox, but when i send a mail to my reliancemail(dot)net account from other email accounts like gmail or yahoo it bounces back!

Hi ! I am facing the same problems. I have filed the complaint in systematic procedure in following ways. You too do the same:

1) Send a mail with complaint details to customer care of reliance. Wait for a week according to legal terms. Send 2 emails within a week(every 3 days) to create a strong evidence in your favour.
2) If they do not work out, then send a mail to nodal officers and service assurance cells. Wait for a week according to legal terms. Send 2 emails within a week(every 3 days) and to create a strong evidence in your favour.
3) If they also do not do anything, then send a feedback to corporate department of reliance. Wait for a week according to legal terms. Send 2 emails within a week(every 3 days) and to create a strong evidence in your favour.

4) After 3 weeks of above process, send an email to Ministry of Telecom(Central Government) with a carbon copy to PM Office, President Office(Rashtrapati Bhavan), Your State Telecom Ministry, All concerned authorized IAS Cadre Officers. Wait for 20 days according to legal rules and regulations. Save a copy of all above emails and keep sending 2-2 mails to each one of them with reminder.

5) Finally, if none of the above works. Go to consumer court with all the evidence of above emails and a good practical lawyer. A lawyer should be good because after so much evidence you cannot loose the case in the consumer court. Here in consumer court you can charge all the months and days refunds for which you paid but did not avail the proper services. You may also charge for mental harassment and physical loss to your business due to improper services. You should prove through documentary evidence how you loose business because of improper mail services for which you are showing the above evidence to court of law. You may also file the complaints against the above IAS officers, Ministries, etc. whom you sent mail but none of them replied or took any actions. Court will decide to penalize them as per the legal rules and regulations for which the magistrate has the powers.

6) Whenever you do any of above tasks, send a fax in your own handwriting and signature or by email and save all copies of email.

The email addresses of all the nodal officers, service assurance cells, corporate department of reliance are mentioned on following url: www(dot)rcom(dot)co(dot)in/webapp/Communications/rcom/Contactus/contactus.jsp

The email addresses of all telecommunication ministry, IAS Officers and state telecommunication ministries can be found through 2 methods:

1) google keyphrase, " Ministry of Telecommunications <name of your state> " or " Ministry of Telecommunications <for central government> "

OR

2) Search manually on either of these three websites which is the complete database of all bottom to top government employees of central and all state governments:

www(dot)sarkaritel(dot)com] OR goidirectory(dot)nic(dot)in OR www(dot)dot(dot)gov(dot)in OR www(dot)pgportal(dot)gov(dot)in

OR

3) Directly file a grievance on following url may also work: www(dot)dot(dot)gov(dot)in/pgcell.htm(Read the 3 and 4 points for understanding the procedure of complaint filing process according to government law)

I know it's the long process, but what to do? when congress is in government this process of time consumption is natural? If it was Vajpayee's BJP government then this much time never took. So, next time don't vote to congress. They used to take instant actions when public had problems. Congress is the worst party of India. They have eaten up all of the country from the day of the freedom. First we got the freedom from Kings when Britishers entered into India. Then we got freedom from Britishers when Congress came into government. Then again we got freedom when BJP came into government during Vajpayee's time. But again now our freedom has gone away. These congress people are not going to do anything for the country. I hate them a lot, though I have nothing to do with the politics.

Sincerely
