Hi, this is my first post here. I'm about to take up a broadband connection very soon. I applied for Airtel Broadband (Explorer 1099 Plan) but cancelled my connection before they could give it when I heard their 'Fair Usage Policy' has been applied to my city (Hyderabad).
That was about Airtel, what about Reliance Wi-Max? Thats the only available option for me. Does it also have such a thing going on? Please respond if yes.
Also I would like to know the amount you have downloaded using their 1Mbps Plan for the initial month (which I hear is mandatory). Iam asking because Iam a heavy user. I can easily imagine downloading 170-220Gb using a connection that averages 100-110Kbps on torrents (I've seen it on a friends' connnection). Has such heavy usage affected anyone's billing till now?
One more thing: Does Reliance allow flexibility in the billing period? i.e what if I take the connection on, say, 21/8 and want my bill to appear on 20/9? Or is it a strictly calender based 1st-to-1st system?
