Thread: New Connection Info Please

Hey i have been told by reliance that they are providing 1 mbps unlimited for 2200 pm. can anybody tell that does reliance allow sharing of internet ( i already have linksys router ).
As of i have heard ,reliance does not allow sharing of unlimited plans but my DSA told that reliance is now allowing.
Can anyone please help me with this query because CC sucks . They ask will you be using more than one pc at same time(they dnt knw that is not sharing :P )

P.S. I dnt have airtel so please dont start that quit reliance and take airtel .. i dnt have any other option for 1 mbps so only reliance wimax is solution but i have reliance wimax bts near my place within 1km.

Tell me one ISP whose CC does not suck..SAB KAUE KALE HAI..u hv to find a lesser evil...as u say u dont hv much options also, so i think u shud go for reliance wimax. it is not that bad . I am using since last 4 months...same case like u...their tower is with in 1km. works absolutely fantastic. not a SINGLE disconnetion in 4 months. rock solid & consistent speed. With watever its shortcomings for their CC go for it. in case it does not work out at ur place wat u will loose is 500 bucks.

It is not that u cant share the connection. U can use it thro proxy s/w. SO dont worry on that part. i know atleast 5 guys they are using wimax unltd connection with multiple machines with diff. ways.

As for sharing is concerned , i am a Network Admin in a firm so good at all that , but wont use proxy based solution for it.Does reliance block NAT based sharing as i dont think so. Also i have found on Net that i need to clone the mac address of that machine from which i will log in (not an issue , will write a script for that) and set the wan port to obtain Dynamic IP from reliance router .

I contacted Mr.Pankaj Pandya(09376657544) and given him all of detail and documents also cheque of 2243 Rs. ( Cheque still not clear).

he reply me DNS is full and No new connection available at this moment.
he was excusing me this from last 1 month

same time i contacted TATA

Same i contacted Mr.Soham and asking for new connection.
he come down and collect details and still he is Mr.India
I call him , same excuse he told me that connection is full.
then he told me that i send you person for Reliance WIMAX


I also Contacted Airtel

They told me no Connectivity available

and the last one is BSNL
I dont have landline phone i am leaving on rent so i m not able to install it.

if any one have any good idea to
get broadband connection
which can be affordable near rs.500-700 Per Month
or any idea to got internet connection from Reliance or TATA

Please help me I am waiting for last 1 month..please
