    Exclamation What to do next??

Hey there every1... well today its been 19 days since my damned wimax connection worked (for 5 days i.e.:taz i filed another complaint yesterday and nobody has even cared to call.

Now i just don't know what the hell to do.. my limited connection (another big mistake ) is also gonna run out soon...

Shud i go in for mtnl?? Or will that too surpass reliance in frustration caused?? How much will the whole setting up of the connection cost? Are there any satisfied customers that exist here of mtnl??

i am just too confused now....hmy:

I take it that you do not have the Airtel option.

MTNL may not be as bad as Reliance Wimax.

If you have got sify available go for it if your local cable operator is some one who cares for his customers.

if sify is not available there in your area then you can go for MTNL and its a good ISP as one of my friend is using it at home and getting good and stable connection... i m not sure about cost and monthly charges which would be applicable to you as at his home there is a sarkaari MTNL phone and its free coz his mom is in MTBL only... if you want to know more about tariff and charges then please check MTNL site or can call MTNL for some good offers...

thx for the info the smoothvibes... i guess i can live with mtnl then... at least reliance has taught me to live without a connection for many days at a stretch ... so i won't have trouble with some disconnection now and then... these sarkari people have it so easy especially when in the telecom sector...

some more opinions will b greatly appreciated.

i think if Airtel is not available in your area then MTNL is the best option available coz they are providing plans somewhere similar to airtel only and apart from that there are not so many known problems with MTNL. It will take about 7-14 days to install it at your home and after that you can enjoy upto 2mbps speed on MTNL too as other people are enjoying on airtel and BSNL

thats good idea to get 256UL plan and i will really not suggest you to purchase your own modem/ router coz if you will connect your own modem then everytime when you will face a connection MTNL will blame your modem for the same.. and best idea is to take CPE(customer premisis equipment) from ISP only

you can choose from the range of devices available with MTNL..

how many computers you want to connect on this connection...

just one... jus havin second thots bout the automatic disconnection every 2 hour or so that occurs with the modem that they provide... i had a look at the various posts and seems to be this is the only problem thats bugging most subscribers. i dint come across any soln but i think there is...
thanks for ur suggestion smoothvibes.... i will take their cpe only. it will be less of a hassle and yes they wud not blame the modem every time.

Ask for a waiver or threaten them to surrender the connection..like gardencityboy did. In his case they gave waiver. Or simply tell them u will pay for the time ur connection worked. Keep calling their CC & keep on collecting the trouble tickets..note down all ticket no. with date & time & with whom did u speak...It will help in waiver....

yes i already talked bout the waiver... the representative called and said they'll give a month's waiver. in fact i even haven't got my bill this month. not even on email. i don't know whats up with these fellows. and i am probably gonna ask for termination tomoro. see what happens...

i had already given the request for termination two weeks back and they asked me to give them another chance and what not. after many calls i finally said ok fix the connection and i'll keep it. but they cudn't even fix it till now...the losers...

i just received a bill for the normal amount... 841 rs... in the login sessions there are clearly logins only between 22 july and 7 aug (the 5 days it worked...)
just look at their ignorance... i had already asked for the waiver...

My latest unexpected update- The technical dudes came and fixed the connection an hour back!! That too when just 150mb remained in the secondary limited connection

And whats more the ip was manually configured. (so static) and free. The connection has started working like it used to work. For now at least.
