Default One Good News about Reliance Wi-Max

    Hey Hello Everyone,

There is one good news that Reliance now giving you bandwidth of 400kbps for same rental of Rs. :999/- for unlimited plan
(Previous Reliance was giving 300kbps with same rental)

N sad new is that they have closed their 75kbps unlimited plan for new users.

Existing user can shift to this plan by calling customer care (022-3033 7777)
and by telling the name of plan i.e. : WICF01K

Yes what he said is correct, when it works fine then good, but it will not work you will get the problems like unable to acquire the ipaddress and frequent disconnection. And no service people at your door step beware.

Well... from what i've heard and read about, it's either it works for you, or it doesnt.

And I'm thankfully one of those who's connection works. The only time I face downtime is when they're messing with their servers / protocols.

The only problems i've had with their service is 1) login (everyone hates this, i know!! i made my own script for it ^_^)
    2) difficulty in setting up a wifi router

aah well... it's still better than dialup, coz my geographic location preventns any cable service provider from providing a connectino to my place. Too cost prohibitive, as most of the area is all bungalows.... you get the picture.

aah well... back to lookin up my hardware. >_<

One more good news about reliance is that they have fixed the very serious dns vulnerability in their dns servers.
