    Default SGH-E840 mobile lost

    Hello guys!

my samsung sgh-e840 mobile was lost. But it had a mobile tracker. Now after 10 days, it was lost, i got a message conveying the no. of person using my mobile.

i called. the person replied. i asked from where he was calling. He asked me what the matter was. i asked him to give my mobile back. He didn't reply and and cut the call. (7 days before)

Can the mobile tracker of samsung mobiles can be broken. it had a password of mine

You should go to the police and register an FIR and let them get the phone back for you.
I dont know how the mobile tracker thing works but if youve got the number of the person using the phone now and you can prove the ownership of your phone then police should be able to track down that phone number's subscriber and get the phone back for you.

Keep the msg u got from that no. as a proof n get an FIR lodged in police station if they turn up u may be lucky to get ur hand set back.

Ya mobile tracker has a password of yours but in todays world everything is possible, Handset can be resetted with the help of softwares.

If u have other Samsung Mobile with Mobile Tracker then go to the Access Remote Phone option n enter the number from which u got the msg and the password u gave for ur mobile tracker, this way u can get the location info of ur lost mobile.

Calling the police is your best option. There's nothing else you can do.
If you have the phone's IMEI number, that can be useful too...to inform mobile operators so that it becomes useless.
    Good luck !

informing the police is obviously the right thing to do, and with that tracking thing it will help you get your mobile hopefully, and the best part that if you have your IMEA number it will be even easier to get your mobile back!

Make sure you have the mobile bill (the bill when you purchased) while filing the FIR.Without that I don't think you can file the FIR.

I guess, the Thread starter has purchase a new phone and no longer worries about the old one. also, police does not register a F.I.R for mobile theft

No wondor, mobile theft is a industry of its own, worth crores of Rs
