hey guys. i just bought the s5603. its a really great phone. nice camera too! the only downside is that the virtual keyboard is a standard phone keyboard and not a qwerty as you would expect on a full touch screen (htc touch, etc). otherwise its a really decent phone.

any queries?

Samsung has released different touchscreen phones. The one which is bieng talked by the thread starter is obviously the cheaper out of the lot, beaware, even though the lesser price, its really one of the sleek, small, and not to forget "sexy" touch phones available on the market. Its web functionality is nice with all the widgets. Overall, nokia's high profile N97 touch is too high priced. Nokia had to buck to the challenge of low cost touch phones with lesser or equal specs to dominate the touch market as well.

Whether Samsung STAR in S60 or S40 Device?? whether it supports S60 applications like Nokia Smartphones????

Samsung star 3G is the enhanced 3G(HSDPA) version of the earlier released Samsung star.It has a 3.2 MP camera with LED flash, Video telephony support, embedded widgets, accelerometer rotation and a 2.8'' full touch screen that gives it a ravishing look.



but whatever it maybe. Samsung phones lack on S40 and s60 softwares/applications normally cause they dont support big java/.sis heaps..

so what kind of applications do they support actually???? are those applications in Star are quite good enough??

first model in star series in Samsung STAR S5233 which is without 3G, but second star model is with 3G only god knows when 3G phones will going to give their real advantages in INDIA since 3G will take atleast 2-3 months to auction ??
