| Senior Member & Mod |  Samsung Marine(B2100) Guys Today i purchased the most controversial phone of this time (they say its waterfproof- i am gonna keep it in shower tumaro) ..Samsung Marine B2100.. I purchased the phone for Katya, who is to arrive India this month,  I wanted to buy a good durable phone for her. with medium specs, medium price. So, when today when i was roaming romeoly around through a shope i found this Samsung phone. The phone is priced out at 5500/- but i got a discount of 500/-.. This is a quad band phone, waterproof (maker says that) with multimedia, torch etc... I asked him to demo whether Samsung's claim was substantial, and i saw, yes... there the phone was in water table for around a big couples of minutes and it didnt gave out last sparkling light or fumess   I asked him the features and he started to recite: waterproof, multimedia, 8gb expandable, edge internetable, red color(girlly), buttons have rubber coat(good for gf's skin), etc etc... so right now i am using it(it depends,!! if i like this phone very much, i wont tell her that theres a phone waiting for her )The most intelligent feature i found in this phone is its multimedia, and how the internal cabin was made so beautifully.. really a best phone i can recommend to someone blindly.. demerits: quite heavier, girlly red color available  , 5000 bucks(i went for something in/around 4k), looks like an ape of any standard nokia set, no option i found(till now) to make gprs always online, i didnt got any option to move java files out to MC., this phone is too good for her..  i recommend this great phone to someone who can manage a 100gms chunk (bulky indeed) in his pocket, who needs a torch, multimedia punk, wants edge connectivity, waterproof thingy... better than many good phones of now.. |
