Default Samsung to use 3D touch-like pressure sensitive display in their forthcoming model.

Samsung has partnered with Synaptics for the ClearForce Pressure Sensitive touch solution for smart phones. Samsung may use this technology in their forthcoming model, the Galaxy S7. This new technology can differentiate various types of pressure applied by a finger or stylus. It can also be used in speed scrolling, gaming, texting, photo editing etc.

There is no doubt that the new pressure sensitive display is a reaction to the 3D Touch technology which has already been incorporated in Apple iPhone 6 and 6 plus. This paved the way for a new focus in the silent war going on between Apple and Samsung.

Well they had to answer the iPhones version. This is how it always goes though. Apple thinks of something, and then Samsung produces it cheaper. This has been going on since the two companies were in existence together. Still, I think it would be a great feature.I'm tired of losing in my games because the phone misreads my touch. Photo editing should be really cool too. I like how you put the silent war between Apple and Samsung. It really is just that.

You are right. Apple comes up something for the so called elite class of society and Android will produce it for the common segment of society. But it is good that the ultimate beneficiaries are the customers. Moreover when Android does anything like this it will be available in a large variety of models that use Android as OS. That is really cool.

There is still a debate going on when somebody called Android as poor man's choice. I think people are really crazy about such things nowadays.

What skews the figures us that android us outselling the iOS platform, so in effect there's going to be more people using Android across all walks of society, that doesn't necessarily make it a poor mandatory alternative.

But the fact is that Android takes care of every segment of society, poor and rich alike. You can always have models that fits your pocket. But Apple on the other hand only focus on rich people with their unreasonably high price tag. This is one of the important factors for the growing popularity and acceptability of Android phones.

I think after some time, Apple has to really struggle to maintain its position as more and more handset manufacturers like Nokia and Blackberry are going to use Android in their handsets.
