I have a Sify conection and on my PC. Can I use that internet connection on my windows mobile (wifi enabled). I have a usb wifi adaptor on my PC. Can we get internet connection on my wifi mobile using ad hoc method. if yes can any one help to confgure it?

There is nothing complicated about this... just turn wifi on on your mobile and it will connest ... enter password if youve got your network password protected.

pls help me to configure the same.how u have done it. i v sify connection on my pc and windows mobile. how i can access internet on mobile using sify connection on my pc. my pc is not wifi enabled but mobile is wifi enabled. help if u can.

hi! all of u. i m new to this forum. g8 forum. u r helping a lot.i too need help.pls explain me how i can connect to internet using sify broadband of my pc to my pocket pc having windows mobile 6.0.i want to access internet on pocket pc using sify broadband connection of my pc.pls help if u can.

my pc is not wifi enabled but mobile is wifi enabled. how it can be done? do i need any other device to do this?

You will need a wifo router which is very easy to configure.

A netgear will cost you only about 1200-1300 Rs

i am currently using my laptop and my Desktop in tandem using WiFi (Netgear Router).
first off all You need to change your router mac. add. to the one of the computer from which you are registered to sify and use the dialer to login to sify.
after treat your router addresses as you would put in your sify Ip addreses etc.
in your computer make it dhcp enabled with router add as the gate way.
after that u should login using your computer as normal, and then do not logout even if u r shuting down the PC.
u should be able to connect through your Phone now using WiFi.
