I tool Sify Broadband for my home thinking SIFY to be a brand name which would provide a good service. I was hoping to use it for my office work. I was told the distributor has 24 hours backup and connection speeds are very good. I took the connection.
Since then life has been horrible. Uptime is no more than 10 hours a day. Ofcourse power back was a lie. Whenever electricity goes, the connection breaks and sometimes in day time comes up. So its no UPS but an inverter or generator if at all.
You call up sify customer care, they say engineer will look at it next day, by when the things are already running.
After 3 months finally engineers start turning up at house to check but they cannot help it as the local distributor does not have power backup.
I just request people should get together and file a case against sify in consumer forum. Alteast we should get back our installation charges.
