I am using Sifybroadband for the past 18 months. My user ID is paiya. (Bangalore)
Here is my experience regarding the service. This will be helpful for people who intend to take a fresh connection.

When everything is OK connection is acceptable. But when rain comes connection goes.
There is literally no service from the local cable TV operator. The HUB is located in my house since I have inverter back up supply. They are not compensating me for accommodating the HUB. More over for the 5 days there is no connectivity. Even the sify 24 hours hot line number 080 22285920 no body is answering.

The Cable TV operator is technicallly dumb and Sify has no control over them. The last mile access is terible.

This is sure sign of sinking company. I am changing the service provider. can any body suggest which is a better company for reliable broadband for residential connection in Bangalore.
